Capcom has outlined a ton of new content that is coming to Exoprimal with a new game mode arriving next week, detailing the information in its new roadmap. The new third-person action shooter that pitches players in exosuits against hoards of dinosaurs launched last week to some positive, some negative reviews. The DZSH Group reviewed it over on YouTube, giving it a 7/10.
In an update post shared over on Steam, a new game mode is coming on July 28 to Exoprimal. It will be a PvE mode called Savage Gauntlet. It will be separate from Dino Survival, which is “designed to put veteran 5-person Exofighter teams to the test in special rotating weekly missions.”
Savage Gauntlet focuses on taking down dinosaurs without needing to worry about a rival team. It will be an “endgame experience with difficulty that reflects that.” Once you complete the main story, you will get access to this new game mode.
Exoprimal Roadmap
Capcom also shared a roadmap for Exoprimal. August 16 will see the first update which will add 10 new Alpha Variant exosuits, one for each of the current suits. These new suits will have “new playstyles, weapons, abilities and looks.”
The new game mode and the first update are part of Exoprimal’s first season. The roadmap also did give a bit of a teaser for some more seasons as well.
Season two will get a new map called Ocean Platform. New rigs, modules, and a new final mission will also be in season two. Additionally, Exoprimal is collaborating with Street Fighter 6 in Season 2.
Season 3 will include beta variant exosuits and a Neo Triceratops. It will also include a collaboration with Monster Hunter.
No information has been revealed just yet about Season 4, but it was also teased in the roadmap.
