Death Stranding seemingly teased to come to PC Game Pass

It seems like the official Twitter account for PC Game Pass is teasing that Death Stranding will arrive on the service some time in the future.

The Twitter account changed its profile picture to a foggy landscape that features grassy hills and rocks. After the change was made, the account posted a tweet stating: “sometimes we just like a good landscape picture #NewProfilePic.”

Many fans believe that the location in the profile picture is from Death Stranding. Many agree that the image is correct and that it really is from the PlayStation timed-exclusive. Some have interpreted this to mean that PC Game Pass is teasing the potential arrival of Death Stranding on the service.

Death Stranding released back in 2014 as a timed-exclusive on the PlayStation 4. It later released for PC as well, with the Director’s Cut edition releasing on PC too.

Death Stranding was Hideo Kojima’s first project after leaving Konami and follows Sam Porter Bridges (Norman Reedus), as he attempts to navigate a post-apocalyptic America. The main objective is to deliver packages to build a bridge network and rebuild the country.

Although the PC Game Pass account did not give any word on if the speculations were true, it is true that Kojima and Xbox are working on a project separate from Death Stranding. Kojima announced the project earlier this year, saying that it was a game he has “always wanted to make.”
