Rocky star Sylvester Stallone is starring in Amazon Prime Video’s newest superhero film, Samaritan.
The streaming service has recently unveiled an advertisement for the film, and it’s gotten us excited. You can watch it down below.
Samaritan is set in a fictional superhero world. The main character, played by Stallone, is named Samaritan and he’s considered the strongest, largest, and most powerful one of the heroes.
However, after Samaritan suddenly goes missing one day following an intense battle, he disappears for 25 years until a young boy named Sam Cleary is convinced that his neighbor, a man named Joe Smith, is the hero out in hiding.
The cast will include other big names such as Martin Starr and Pilou Asbaek. Stallone himself is producing the movie alongside Braden Aftergood under Balboa Productions. The studio is working with Metro Goldwyn-Mayer.
The film will be released to the platform on August 26th.
