Call of Duty Ghosts isn’t exactly what most people think of when they hear the words ‘Call of Duty.’ It didn’t have much love from the community when it first released and to this day, a ton of people love to dunk on Ghosts at any opportunity they get. There are quite a lot of reasons why Ghosts is so infamous, but somehow, Call of Duty: MWII made Ghosts relevant online all over again.
Ever since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II dropped in October 2022, I’ve been getting a ton of Call of Duty content on my TikTok FYP and as a proud fan of Call of Duty, I’ve made it my responsibility to save as many of them as I can. I have a folder dedicated to Call of Duty in my TikTok favorites, no joke.
Call of Duty Ghosts released back in 2013 and was actually one of the top ten highest selling Call of Duty games of all time. Despite its lackluster reception from fans, Ghosts did sell a ton of copies. That’s not to say that Call of Duty doesn’t usually sell a lot, but it ranks at Number 5 on the list. It surpassed Call of Duty WW2 and MW2 (2009), so yeah… it did good sales-wise.
Who is Keegan from Call of Duty Ghosts?
Sergeant Keegan P. Russ is one of the supporting characters in Call of Duty Ghosts and is a former member of the United States Marine Corps. In the Ghosts campaign, Keegan is a scout sniper. Now, Keegan is also a pretty tough guy and he’s got a fanbase over on TikTok.
Since MWII dropped, Keegan edits have filed in alongside all the other Call of Duty edits, which is wild. I didn’t actually think I would see the day when edits for Ghosts would fill my FYP, but here we are. I guess all the fans of Ghosts saw the popularity of Ghost from MWII and just decided to hop on in. And why not? But anyways, here are some of the best edits I’ve seen on TikTok for Keegan:
