PowerWash Simulator is coming to PlayStation in January

Square Enix and FuturLab have announced that the popular video game PowerWash Simulator will be coming to PlayStation on January 30. The announcement was made through a PlayStation blog post that is currently unavailable for an unknown reason.

Back in September 2022, Square Enix announced that PowerWash Simulator would be making its way to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation soon, but no details on when they would release were initially given.

Although we now have a confirmation for the release date on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, no word has been given by Square Enix or FuturLab on when the Nintendo Switch release is coming.

When PowerWash Simulator first released, it was met by positive reviews from both players and critics. Since its launch in 2021, the game has amassed over three million players worldwide.

PowerWash Simulator allows players to build their own power-washing business and features satisfying powerwashing gameplay. Players basically start their business and complete challenges in the city of Muckingham, earning rewards and unlocking new tools. There’s also an online co-op mode where players can enjoy the time with their friends.

It does seem like a bit of a strange concept, but simulator games like this can be genuinely very fun. PowerWash Simulator can be a more relaxing title to unwind to if you’ve been raging on other games all day.

PlayStation is also getting a few more indie games, including NeverAwake, Backfirewall, and Season: A Letter to the Future.

PowerWash Simulator is currently available for Xbox and PC as well.
