Resident Evil 4 Remake producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi has shared new information about the development of the title, stating that it is now in its final stages. The team at Capcom is also working hard to deliver the title by its intended release date of March 24, 2023.

Japanese website Famitsu recently published several interviews with game developers sharing their plans for the next year. This included Capcom’s Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, who previously worked as a producer in multiple remake projects — this includes Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2.

Hirabayashi is now at the helm of the Resident Evil 4 Remake and has shared that development is basically near completion. It seems highly likely that Resident Evil 4 should get a release by March 24 without delays. Capcom will share more information the closer the launch date comes.

In the interview, Hirabayashi said that Capcom is “working hard to provide you with more information about Resident Evil RE:4 in preparation for its release on March 24th.” He also added that the RE:4 Remake is “in the final spurt” of development, asking fans to “wait just a little longer.”

The Resident Evil 4 Remake has been rated ‘mature’ by the ESRB for “intense and graphic violence, strong language, and dismemberment of enemies.” The game will also have “in-game purchases,” which seems to point towards a potential multiplayer mode.

As a series, Resident Evil has been considered one of the best survival horror games out there. Resident Evil 4 is a highly beloved entry to the series. With its immersive gameplay and intense terror, Resident Evil 4’s upcoming remake will hopefully bring that magic to screens once again. Since the Resident Evil 4 Remake is in its final stages of development, hype should be high.
