Sony’s God of War Santa Monica Studio is not slowing its pace on projects anytime soon. Their most recent release was God of War: Ragnarok.

Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, Santa Monica’s creative director Cory Barlog said that the studio is currently “spread out on a lot of different things.”

Barlog did not provide any details on what those projects are. Santa Monica does have an external development team that works on third party games (Twisted Metal), which may be included in the several projects.

Santa Monica Studios just recently released God of War: Ragnarok, which has opened to much praise from players. The highly anticipated title was finished about a month ahead of its launch, with most of the 200+ employees at Santa Monica working on it.

It’s likely that Santa Monica Studios is working on at least one or two major games, which might be the next God of War. However, there will be no more Norse God of War titles, which would mean that God of War would have to explore a new mythological setting.
