The Settlers reboot has been indefinitely delayed by Ubisoft

(Edit: The original version of the article stated that The Settlers was first released back in 2010. It has been updated to reflect the fact that The Settlers Online was released back in 2010, with the original releasing back in 1993)

Ubisoft’s reboot of The Settlers franchise has been delayed indefinitely despite being two weeks away from launch. A recent closed beta has resulted in the decision, with Ubisoft citing player feedback regarding the “current state of the game.”

The Settlers Online is a real-time strategy video game series that was first released back in 2010. The reboot was set to be released on March 17. However, Ubisoft announced on its official Twitter page that the reboot was being delayed.

Ubisoft Dusseldorf acknowledged that the game was not yet up to the standards they were hoping for and that they would postpone the game’s launch to focus on improving the game’s quality.
