God of War Ragnarok 120FPS mode

The highly anticipated God of War Ragnarok has gotten some graphical settings revealed.

God of War Ragnarok will have two distinct options for graphics settings, and those can be pushed even more for people who have TVs that support HDMI 2.1.

According to Press Start, it looks like God of War Ragnarok will have the following graphics options:

  • Favor Resolution – 4K/30FPS Locked
  • Favor Performance – 60FPS Locked
  • Favor Resolution (High Frame Rate) – 4K/40FPS Locked
  • Favor Performance (High Frame Rate) – Targeting 120 FPS

It’s certainly impressive to see a game as immersive and beautiful as God of War Ragnarok on a big screen with super fast framerates.

God of War Ragnarok was originally set to release last year, but Sony Interactive Entertainment delayed it to 2022 in order to help Santa Monica Studio deliver “a top-quality game while maintaining the safety and wellbeing of its team.”

Last week, Santa Monica Studio announced that the game had gone gold. This means that it is feature complete and ready for physical production. The current official release date for God of War Ragnarok is November 9.

Sony also announced a new God of War Ragnarok PlayStation 5 hardware bundle, but it will not include the God of War Ragnarok PS5 controller.
