E3, one of the biggest events in the gaming industry, will be returning to in-person activities in 2023. After being canceled this year and having virtual events due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its restrictions, E3 will finally be coming back for a four-day expo.
E3 will take place on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) and will end on Friday, June 16, 2023.
ReedPop will be operating E3. The group has worked on events like PAX, EGX, New York Comic-Con, Star Wars Celebration, and more. There will be days and spaces that will be for industries and consumers. Plus, there will be partnered digital events that take place starting June 11 and will run throughout the show.
ReedPop has revealed some revamping that is being done for E3, as well as its new business model. E3 will have Business Days that will take place from June 13 to June 15. These days will be exclusive for registered industry personnel to network in-person, hold professional meetings, and connect with licensors and distributors. Media will also be able to go hands-on with upcoming games showcased by developers and publishers from around the world.
E3 Gamer Days will take place on June 15 and June 16 in a different hall than the one for Industry Days. Consumers will get a chance to go hands-on with the future of gaming and get a chance to connect with developers, content creators, media personalities, and much more.
ReedPop VP of Gaming, Kyle Marsden-Kish said that “E3 is one of the global gaming industry’s few opportunities to come together, unite as one loud voice, and show the world what it is creating. Our vision is to reunite the industry by re-establishing the traditional E3 week, bring back that spark, and restore E3’s role as a truly magical global showcase event for game creators and consumers.”
Media registration for E3 2023 will begin in December 2022. Confirmed exhibitors, hotel and travel guides, event schedules, and more will be shared in the coming months.
