Marvel’s Midnight Suns is facing a second delay, leaving prospective players without a clear date for the release of the tactical RPG. Midnight Suns is being developed by Firaxis Games and 2K.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is being published by Take-Two, who revealed during an earnings result that it had moved back the launch “to ensure the teams at Firaxis Games and 2K deliver the best.”

Midnight Suns is expected to arrive “later this fiscal year,” which would mean sometime before March 2023. This release will only be for Windows PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S players. The release date for the PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch are still coming later, which may mean well into 2023.

Midnight Suns was originally set to arrive March 2022, but was delayed to October 2022. At the time, the delay seemed to be the result of difficulty dealing with the new technological advancements in making video games.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick stated that the second delay was due to a “search for quality, and a great deal of confidence that we have a wonderful title on our hands and we want to make sure it’s as good as it can possibly be.” He stated that he was not “concerned” about the possibility of a third delay happening.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns was first revealed back in 2021 at Gamescom.
