It can be hard to imagine an incredibly expensive hotel, but you’d be shocked by what’s out there.

When we think of hotel nightly rates, we tend to imagine anywhere between $200-$600 a night, with $600+ being on the much higher end of things. However, across the world’s richest cities can be found the world’s most costly hotels.

Luxury suites at any of these places can charge you up to tens of thousands per night, and that’s on the lower end!

So if you’ve got tons of money to spend and are planning a vacation sometime soon, these could be your potential options.

5. The Ty Warner Penthouse, Four Seasons, NYC

$60,000 Per Night

Starting off our list is the Ty Warner Penthouse room at the Four Seasons building in New York. It’s located on the 52nd floor of the building, and its worth sits at around $50 million. The suite gets its name from the building’s owner, Ty Warner, and it will cost you the pretty penny of $60,000 per night.

The penthouse comes with a 360 degree view of New York, as well as four glass balconies that face each side of the city. The view is astounding.

The suite only comes with one sleeping room, but what it lacks in sleeping amenities (if you can even use the word ‘lacks’) it makes up in literally everything else. It comes with a private spa, gorgeous master bathroom and infinity tub, a personal elevator and Rolls Royce, plus a chauffeur.

That’s not even to mention the free unlimited massages!

4. The Mark Penthouse, The Mark Hotel, NYC

$75,000 Per Night

The Mark Penthouse is the largest personal suite in the U.S., sitting at over 10,000 square feet in size. That’s bigger than the average household!

For a crazy price tag of $75,000 a night, you can get a two-story penthouse at the Mark Hotel, which comes with 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 bars, 2 powder rooms, a massive living room, and 4 total fireplaces. The outdoor terrace is a massive outdoor platform that has gorgeous views of the downtown.

If that’s not enough the living room takes advantage of its spacious floorplan by converting into a full-scale ballroom.

Geneva Switzerland is home to some of the world’s richest, and this is shown in the kinds of luxuries the city offers. One of these is the Royal Penthouse suite, a room worth $80,000 per night.

The suite takes up the entire 8th story of the Hotel President Wilson, and comes with 12 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, 24/7 personal assistant, chef, and butler. The rooms are furnished beautifully, and the entire room overlooks Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc. The view on its own is worth the $80K!

Amenities-wise the room comes with a lake-view jacuzzi, bulletproof glass, 24/7 security (which includes a camera system set up around the suite), a fortified safe, a Steinway piano, and even a 1930’s Brunswick billiard table.

Just to sweeten the deal, the room comes with an entire private elevator.

2. The Empathy Suite, The Palms Hotel, Las Vegas

$100,000 Per Night

The Empathy Suite is the second most expensive hotel room in the entire world, and that’s mainly due to its designer. The room was fully redesigned by Damien Hurst from an original Villa suite.

The shocking $100,000 per night price gets you two master bedrooms, multiple massage tables, a relaxation room, a jacuzzi that overlooks the city strip, and a tour of the art collections throughout the room.

If you’re a big art fan, more specifically a Damian Hurst fan, this is the suite for you.

1. The Lover’s Deep Submarine, St Lucia

$150,000 Per Night

The Lover’s deep submarine hotel, which cost around $1B to construct is the world’s most expensive hotel room. This one is unique as it’s a submarine (obviously).

It comes with beautiful views of the water via glass panel-ceilings, and it comes with a private captain, chef, butler, beach landings, and helicopter and speedboat transfers. The boat moves around the Caribbean depending on the guests’ requests.

It’s the ultimate form of luxury under-the-sea, and we can imagine it’s not an experience once can easily forget!
