Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive has revealed a new Chapter that will be arriving on November 22.
Chapter 26 “Forged in Fog” has a new Killer named The Knight, a new Survivor named Vittorio Toscano, and a new map called The Shattered Square.
Dead by Daylight‘s newest medieval killer, The Knight, learned to wield weapons at a younger age. He gained the undying allegiance of three loyal Guards: The Carnifex, The Assassin, and The Jailer. Known for his power and skill, he became knight and set out to seize power.
The Knight’s Power, Guardia Compagnia, will allow players to create a Patrol Path. This will let them summon one of three types of AI-controlled Guard and leave a Standard Flag in position. A Guard that is summoned can survey and patrol, hunt and chase Survivors, or damage Pallets and Generators.
Guards will chase spotted Survivors for some time. They will also disappear if the target is wounded. The Survivor can outsmart a Guard by staying alive until the Hunt Timer ends, unhooking another survivor, or catching the Standard Flag when activated.
Survivor Vittorio Toscano is a scholar who is looking for ancient secrets and more. He wants to bring goodness to the world and doesn’t stop trying to gain knowledge. Although he and The Knight were on good terms, that quickly changed once Vittorio realized The Knight’s true agenda.
“Forged in Fog” will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam and Epic Games).
