But some cars truly have an edge over other ones, and this is often reflected in their price point. So if you have a pretty penny to spend, here are some of the most expensive, street legal, cars in the world.

It’s beautiful, it’s fast, and it’s electric. Everything about Croatian manufacturer Rimac’s Nevera model speaks luxury. Its gorgeous, aerodynamic design, its glistening finish, and its gorgeous brown-leather interior all hold a sort of value most other cars don’t have.

When it comes to speed, this car was built for the raceway. It’s able to go 0-60 in just 1.85 seconds, and it can reach top speeds of 258 miles per hour, due to its impressive 1,914 horsepower engine. Each of the car’s wheels are controlled by an independent motor, and the whole thing is held together by a carbon fiber monocoque core.

It is the most expensive electric car out there, making it a must-have for any wealthy car enthusiasts.

7. The Lamborghini Countach

That stands true for the 2021 Lamborghini Countach, a rerelease of its gorgeous, 1974 model. Its design speaks subtly of their famous Aventador model, but with its own retro-spin.

The car was launched in August of 2021, and would come as a hybrid electric-gas car. It’s sharp, geometric edges accompanied by a sporty-leather interior made it an immediately popular car.

The car has an 803 horsepower engine, and due to its electric-assist, can go from 0-60 in just 2.8 seconds. It can reach impressive top speeds of 220 miles per hour, and has a 6.5-liter V12 engine.

It’s safe to say due to the nature of the vehicle it excited TONS of car enthusiasts from around the world.

6. The W Motors Lykan Hypersport

W Motors is the world’s first luxury car company based in the Middle East.

The company would release their gorgeous, sharp-edged, power car named the Lykan Hypersport in 2013, and it quickly became a big name in the luxury world.

The vehicle features titanium headlight housings, a holographic console display, and over 420 15-carat diamonds throughout the build. Following its release it became the third most expensive car in the world.

Inside its flashy build is a 3.7-liter, six-cylinder engine that can hit a max of 780 horsepower. The vehicle’s popularity was boosted by its appearance in Fast and Furious seven, however its unrealistically-expensive build got consumer attention without the film anyways.

5. Koenigsegg Jesko

Try saying Koenigsegg five times fast. You won’t get as fast as the Jesko model.

In all seriousness though, if you want a car that hits insane speeds, looks sleek and luxurious, and will catch the attention of go-byers, this is the car for you.

The vehicle costs an intense three million dollars, but it’s justified in every turn and twist it has in its complex exterior design. The car has a powerful 1,600 horsepower engine, and can hit max speeds of around 300 miles per hour, according to its manufacturers. It was released around 2019 for a limited-time, making it not only super-expensive, but rare too.

It’s been outfitted with some of the top consumer technology in cars nowadays, including Apple CarPlay and power-adjustable leather seats. This is a behemoth of a car.

4. The Aston Martin Valkyrie

Being the brainchild of Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing Technologies, the Valkyrie is an intense vehicle.

It’s as if the company put all their racing knowledge and talent into one car, which they did. Developed by British automotive company Cosworth, this vehicle has an engine that is truly top of the line. Inside of its bizarre, eye-catching build lies a 6.5-liter, V12 engine that can produce up to 1,160 horsepower.

To put it simply, the car can top max speeds of 200 miles per hour.

It hasn’t even hit the 2022 market yet and has already sold out completely, even with a price point that encroaches on 4 million, and to be honest, it makes sense. There is no consumer-focused car like it out there. It has the look, structure, and speed to be a complete F1 race vehicle, but for the mass-market.

Bugatti has truly shocked the markets with their new, nine-million dollar supercar.

The car’s price point is justified not only by its insane perks, but also by its rarity, with only ten units being ever created. It’s yet again another modern rerelease of a famous luxury vehicle, this time the Bugatti EB110.

The car was made to celebrate the company’s 110th anniversary (therefore 10 models were made), and as such it was styled lavishly. Like its 90’s counterpart, it reaches top speeds of over 200 miles per hour. Its beautiful, race-car inspired interior will make you feel like you’re driving right down the track. It features a mute leather build, touchscreen panel, and light strip that goes down the middle section.

2. The Bugatti La Voiture Noire

That’s the price of Bugatti’s most expensive car ever produced. The car is a modern recreation of Jean Bugatti’s Type 57sc Atlantic, using the same 8-liter W16 engine the Bugatti Chiron does, which can produce up to 1,479 horsepower. The car has an impressive six exhaust tips and an eye catching, homage-paying black design that just screams wealthy.

There is only nine versions of the car ever made, making it one of the world’s most unique vehicles.

For 30 million dollars, you can get yourself the gorgeous new Rolls-Royce Boat Tail, a beautiful, nautical-style car. The vehicle was inspired by the luxury yacht boats of the 1920s and 1930s, and it shows. Not only is the shape of the car yacht-like, but so is its features.

It has a two-tone exterior, gorgeous leather and wood interior, and a full dining suite.

Yes, you read that right, a dining suite.

Certain models of the car came with parasols built into the back, while the car itself comes with a full tableware set, which is unique with each model. It also has two, temperature-controlled fridges, and two carbon fiber stools.

Alongside this it also has a rotating cocktail table, making this not only a luxury car, but a full dining experience.
